Cardiff Airport Football Club, founded in 1970, is a long‑established Welsh football side representing Rhoose and the wider Vale of Glamorgan. The club plays its home matches at Jenner Park, Barry, a historic ground with a capacity of 2,650. Under the guidance of coach Stephen Jones, the team has built a reputation for resilience, ambition, and steady progression through the Welsh football pyramid.
Competing in the Ardal SW League (Tier 3), Cardiff Airport FC has enjoyed a remarkable rise in recent years. After climbing from the Vale of Glamorgan League into the South Wales Alliance League, the club continued its upward trajectory, achieving several major milestones. Their 2022–23 Welsh Cup run marked the best in club history, reaching the third round after defeating Cefn Fforest, Cardiff Bay, Cwmbach Royal Stars, and Abergavenny Town before bowing out to Cymru North side Porthmadog.
The club’s momentum continued with league success. Cardiff Airport FC were crowned South Wales Premier League Premier Division champions in 2024–25, earning promotion to the Ardal Leagues for the 2025–26 season — the highest level the club has ever competed at. This achievement reflects years of development, strong coaching, and a committed squad.




The club has also collected an impressive list of honours across multiple competitions, including:
